Does this answer your question? ?Upward of 60,000 lawn mower injuries occur annually in the United States with most of these involving the lower extremities (Love, 1988). Injuries can range from simple lacerations to more severe fractures and amputations. The setting for these injuries is inherently dirty so a wide variety of pathogens will be present. The combination of pathogens and severity of injury leads to a prolonged and expensive treatment course with an estimated annual cost of 475 million dollars.? EMEDICINE.COM http://www.emedicine.com/orthoped/topic601.htm (WARNING: There are also graphic images of injuries on this particular page of the site so if you have a weaker disposition or you have young children present you should use caution when opening this page. Most the potentially offensive images are lower down the page.) Please let me know if this sufficiently answers your question. Regards; tutuzdad-ga |
