A customer brought this folder to me and asked if I could find out any
information on it and whether it was of any value or what the value
is. It appears to be a folder, with two stamps on the front with
cancellations and dates. On the inside of the folder is an
illustration of buildings and on the bak a figure. Any information
about this would be most helpful. I have photos of this item and close
ups of the cancellations.......but do not see a place ot upload them.

On the cancellations I can read Pilsen 1-Plzen. On the rest of the
cover is 1842 - 1942 and the words 100 Jahre Wrquell I thought
there was a way to upload photos with these questions??

The word "Wrquell" is actually "Urquell". The cancellation text refers
to the jubilee of the Urquell brewery in the Czech town of Pilsen,
which was in 1942 part of the so-called Protectorate Bohemia and
Moravia under German rule.

Provided that it is not a fake, it definitely is an official
commemorative issue of the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia on
occasion of the 100th anniversary of the famous Urquell Brewery in
Pilsen.
- Image 1 shows the motto "100 Years Urquell", and smaller:
"Bürgerliches Brauhaus Pilsen", the company's proper name.
- Image 2: The two stamps are ordinary stamps of the Protectorate's
mail service, but with special postmarks referring to the brewery's
jubilee.
- Image 3 shows the main gate of the Urquell Brewery in Pilsen.
- Image 4: The coat-of-arms of the town of Pilsen.
I will see if offline sources know about this particular issue. Maybe
one of my colleagues has some information, too.

According to my customer it was brought back from the war by his
father and has been in their hands ever since. He would like to know
an approximate value if that is possible!! Thank You
