Good news, chocolamu! Thanks for letting me know. No, don't cancel the question, you've done just the right thing and now all is well. Here is the answer again, to make it official. I'm glad it worked for you. 1) Select the column (or cell) you want to change. 2) Click on the DATA drop-down menu button, then TEXT TO COLUMNS. 3) Select (tick mark) DELIMITED and hit Next. 4) Select (tick mark) TAB and SPACE and OTHER (type " - "in the field), hit Next. 5) Click on the DESTINATION LITTLE BOX (to the right of the field). 6) Select the thirteen columns you want the data to appear in. 7) Click on the DESTINATION LITTLE BOX again and hit Finish Thanks again, take care, hummer |

I dont get what you mean! I have to Discompose more than 500 cells each in 13 cells so it should be I imagine a logical function that will say Just take 2 characters after you observe a "-" or the firs space. I know how to doit manually, I just want to save some time! |
