I've been using an aftermarket inkjet company for my Epson 2200 for
just about the last two years with no problem whatsoever. Good prices,
good quality and excellent service.
Here is the link to the company.

Good luck.

I have purchased about 6 aftermarket cartridges over 2 years from
www.ink-jet.com for my Epson Stylus Photo 890. They have excellent
service and prices, and when they accidentally sent to the billing
instead of shipping address one time, they resent it correctly and
included a bonus cartridge for the trouble (I also kept the one from
the billing address).

The cheapest I found after search for your Epson 780 printer is at
http://store.aaatoner.com/epfcocoinca2.html for $6.80.

You might also want to look at
http://store.supplyclub.com/epson-t008201-c.html, though their
shipping is expensive.

I've heard good things about http://www.swiftink.com/ and would try
them first. Otherwise, http://www.megatoners.com/ is supposed to be
pretty good as well.

Hello, Are your cartridges refillable? If so, You can get a refill kit
from the store for only 12.00 to 17.00 depending where you go, and it
will do three full color refills. You can get the black refills for a
lot cheaper. You get six full refills for about 14.00 Let me know
if this is an option for you, and I can tell you where to get the
refill kits at a great discount. Locally anywhere. Thanks and
Goodluck.

If you're using a lot of cartridges, you can also use the information
in this article for getting money for them. Scroll down near the
bottom to the section on "ink cartridges":
