I can't give you a number, but the US and other western countries have donated a lot for poverty in Africa, with great results; just look how it has grown! By providing money that the governments and politicians could misuse, this obviated their need to develop their local economies and allowed them to ignore the problems of poverty among the populace. (Also reinforced by 1st World agricultural policies that make it difficult or impossible for them to compete in the market.) But maybe someone can give you the number you have asked for - or post a comment that refutes mine. Myoarin |

There is definitely an amount - in the billions and billions of dollars - much more than any other country has given. I need to know the exact amount. |
