By the time you read this, I hope my website is up and running.  But
right now, it's down.

Are you up to the challenge to create a troubleshooting checklist that
my nerdy 17-year old nephew could drill down to determine the problem
if I'm not around to do it myself?

I'm thinking everything from pinging to DNS.

Hi calvin...

Sorry - I lost track of this question in the course of a
computer crash.

What's your status now? Do you still need a checklist, or is
your site up and running? It's a little more difficult to 
resolve a downed site when it's on somebody else's server,
but it's still possible to pin this down.
