Here is data on product revenue, services revenue, other revenue, and
total revenue back to 1988: "Key figures since IPO" SAP
http://www.sap.com/company/investor/reports/zip/keyfigures_since_IPO_new.xls.
Based on this source, consulting and training are services revenue,
while product revenue includes licenses and maintenance: "Form 20-F"
SAP http://www.sap.com/company/investor/reports/pdf/2003_20F.pdf (page
111). Short of going through the Form-20Fs individually, this is as
probably as good as you are going to do, and the Form-20Fs that are
available online will not get you back nearly that far. Note that SAP
has only been using US GAAP principles for financial reporting since
1999, so data before that may not be comparable to data produced
after.
SAP itself only provides its reports online back to 1997, with the
exception of the spreadsheet referenced above: "Investor Relations:
Financial Data & Reports" SAP
http://www.sap.com/company/investor/reports/index.epx
The SEC does not have filings going any farther back:
http://www.sec.gov/edgar/searchedgar/companysearch.html.
Your best bet would be to contact SAP Investor Relations and see if
they can provide the older data:
