Hi BigJosh, I went to the New York District and School Information website here: http://www.nycenet.edu/dist_sch/ They have a mapping system near the bottom right of the screen. I typed in the address "99 John Street" in the ADDRESS field, selected Manhattan as the Borough and hit "Get Map". The Map that came up identified your address as being in Community School District 2 (CSD2). If you select the option that says "Elementary Schools" on this map, it will give you the following schools: Alfred E. Smith (M001) 8 Henry Street New York NY 10038 Phone: 212-267-4133 Fax: 212-267-4469 Jacob Riis Community School (M126) 80 Catherine Street New York NY 10038 Phone: 212-962-2188 Fax: 212-349-7342 Riis Upper School (M893) 80 Catherine Street New York NY 10038 Phone: 212-962-2188 Fax: 212-349-7342 I believe these three elementary schools apply to your location as per the NY Education website. Please review this information and feel free to ask for any clarification, if required. Regards, gopalkamat-ga |

Sounds like your child would be in District 1 (lower Manhatten), you can call the district at 212-602-9701 to confirm this. Good Luck! jyovanoff-ga |
