I need to find recent (2003 or later) business case studies on the
corporate strategies of information services companies that sell
consumer or corporate data (the credit bureaus, for example).  I am
also interested in economic research on trends in the information and
data services industry as a whole.

Your question, while intriguing, is a bit on the vague side.  It's
hard to know just what types of case studies you're after, and what
sort of services/companies you're focusing on.
