Hello waystland, See: "Regulation for Reducing the Ozone Formed from Aerosol Coating Emissions" (2005-04-18) California Air Resources Board http://www.arb.ca.gov/consprod/regs/apt.pdf The numbers 67.0 and 1.50 appear on pages 12 and 14 next to "Clear Coatings." I deduce that "CC" stands for "Clear Coatings." Page 14 suggests that "< 1.50 MIR" means that the product is under the limit for Product-Weighted MIR in Grams Ozone per Gram Product. Page 12 suggests that "67% VOC" means that the product meets the standard of 67.0 Percent Volatile Organic Compounds by Weight. The following article discusses VOC and mentions MIR: "Volatile organic compound" VOC http://www.answers.com/topic/volatile-organic-compound - justaskscott Search strategy -- Searched on Google for various combinations of these terms: mir voc cc aerosol "maximum incremental reactivity" "volatile organic compounds" 67 1.50 "clear coatings" |
