Hello incamelot, "Takin' It To The Streets" was a hit from the Doobie Brothers' 1976 album of that title. It contains the phrase "takin' it to the streets" several times during the chorus. "Takin' It To The Streets - 1976" The Official Doobie Brothers Website http://www.doobiebros.com/content/discography/Streets.php "Takin' It To The Streets" DoobFan http://www.doobfan.com/lyrics/lyrics3.htm#b This song is often played on classic rock radio, so you probably have heard it within the past 15 years. If this is not the correct song, please let me know, so that I may do follow-up research. - justaskscott Search strategy -- Searched on Google for: "takin it to the streets" "doobie brothers" |
