Hello preacherg,
There are 50 titles of the United States Code and 50 titles of the
Code of Federal Regulations. However, you asked for volumes, and I
presume you mean that literally instead of titles.
The most common version of the United States Code in a law library is
the United States Code Annotated (U.S.C.A.) by West Publishing
Company. There are 310 print volumes of the U.S.C.A., not including
the Tables, General Index, and Popular Name Table. If one also
excludes four pamphlets, then there are 306 volumes.

The 2000 edition of the United States Code available from the federal
government, which lacks the detailed annotation of the U.S.C.A, has
only 27 volumes, excluding Tables and General Index.

By my count, there are 216 volumes of the current Code of Federal
Regulations, not including CFR Index and Findings Aids.
