How do I install the gd extension for php on my mac powerbook g4
without reinstalling all of php?
PHP is already working, I just need to add the gd extension. I need
step by step instructions specific to Mac OS X 10.3.9. I've already
downloaded the latest gd tar file, 2.0.33.
     a) where should I unpack it?
     b) how do I add it to php?
     c) what do I need to backup to make sure that I can get back to
my current configuration?
     d) how do I test it to make sure it is working?
