I am currently writing a book to be distributed in the States on how

know:-

1. How to price a decorated cake for a special event such as a
wedding, birthday or anniversary - depending on the complexity of
design, time taken to do the work, the ingredients used etc.

2. How do you transport the cakes.

3. What are the health regulations for running a home based food
industry businss and are there any licenses to obtain or registrations
to apply for.

4. What insurances do we have to apply for i.e. public liability, if
there is a food poisoning scare, etc. etc.

5. What is the procedure for starting a home based business as far
as registering a business name, running a business in your own name
etc. etc.

Where are you located? Food preparation (like wedding cakes) is
usually regulated/supervised by the local health department. State and
local laws and regulations may apply. Thanks.

I am currently residing in Australia but the book will be distributed
mainly in the States this is why I have to be diligent in collecting
this information.

I look forward to your reply,

Thanks

Hello ziggy~

You have asked five separate questions, several of which will take
quite an amount of time to research. You might consider posting five
separate questions, instead of this one. You might also look at your
pricing. Here are some guidelines that might help:

Dear Kriswrite,

Thanks for your answer. Am I able, at this stage, to increase the
bid amount to $50. I was hoping to have the answers through within
a few days and now hopefully with the next two days. Is this possible?

Regards,
