Hello.
George W. Bush attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass., beginning
in the fall of 1961 and graduating in the spring of 1964.

Congressional candidate Mike Francisco apparently just attended the
school in 1963.
From Mr Francisco's official biography on his campaign web site:
"After returning from Iran, Mike won a scholarship to Phillips Academy
at Andover, Massachusetts in 1963, and was a member of the school's
rifle team."

Mr. Francisco is identified as a member of the Class of 1963 in the
alumni notes for that class on Andover's web site:
"63 ... Phillips ... Mike Francisco is running for Congress as a
Republican in northwest Florida. 'I am a conservative,' Mike writes,
'who stands for honesty, education, less government and a strong
defense. Primary election is Sept. 10.'"

According to his biography, Mr Francisco's father was in the U.S.
Army, serving in Japan, Iran, and Nicaragua. It's not unusual for Army
kids to spend just a semester or two at a particular school.

I hope this helps. |

No, President Bush and Mr Francisco were not in the same class.
President Bush was in the Class of 1964, while Mr Francisco was in the
Class of 1963. They would have both been at the school in 1963, but
1963 appears to be the only year that Mr Francisco was at the school
received his scholarship to attend the school in 1963 and graduated
the same year. Again, Mr Francisco is identified as a member of the
Class of '63 on this page: http://www.andover.edu/alumni/60s.htm
As indicated above, Mr Francisco's father was in the army and the
family traveled quite a bit, so Mr Francisco seems to have only
attended Andover that one year (1963).
