Can you list online software that will allow me to create a
regular book with chapters and photos?
I'm looking for a way to typeset my book online myself.
It appears that most places only do business cards and picture/photo
books. Essentially, I would like to find something similar to InDesign
or Quark, but simpler and online. I'm not looking for an e-book
solution; I'm looking for a solution that prepares the document for
press.
BTW, none of the following do what I have in mind:

I'm a bit confused. Maybe you can help me understand exactly what
you're looking for.
You have a book you have written (or that you plan to write)- perhaps
in a Word document ?and you want to turn that document into a book,
with chapters and photos and such, correct?
If so, you are looking for software that allows you to do that?
Something that allows you to set the type, add photos, and generates
the chapters and headings and perhaps an index or table of contents?
What are you looking for in an end-product? Something you can print on
your home printer? A file to take to a professional printer? Something
people can read online?
What?s confusing me is your use of the term ?online.? What do you
mean by ?typeset my book online myself??

I don't want to create it in Word. I want to create it online.
I want to find online software solutions for creating the final document.
I'm not interested in desktop applications.

What?s confusing me is your use of the term ?online.? What do you
mean by ?typeset my book online myself??
I didn't answer the question above well enough.
I mean that I don't want to find a website that I hire to typeset a book for me.
I want to find a website that allows me to typeset the book through
their online software.
Two more places that do similar things are:
www.heritagemakers.com
www.cherishbound.com
However, their book creating systems only work well for story and
photobooks. They do not work for larger books with large table of
contents and chapters and indices.
