Sorry for not having been more clear:

We are a PR firm and we do not have an HR dept. WHen we have HR
questions I usually do a search but the laws in each state are
different. We are located in New York, westchester county to be
specific.

i am looking for a company that provides HR support to small businesses like ours.

is this better??

Hello sandralm-ga,

Thank you for the clarification. It helps a lot. I?ve started
researching your question and I?ve got more questions for you.

You say that in the past you?ve investigated HR issues on an ?as
needed? basis. Since you don?t have an HR department, who performs the
HR functions/responsibilities? What is the size of your company? How
many employees do you have? (Many HR regulations depend on the size of
the company.) What are the kinds of HR questions you?re likely to need
help with? Who handles your payroll?

Here are a couple of articles that discuss HR outsourcing in a general
way to help you think through your needs. I?d love to help with your
question but I need more information about your situation.

I?m looking forward to your further clarification.

Hello,

I rearched myself either online or by calling people I know in HR positions.
We are a 13 person PR firm. Paychex does our payroll.
Questions:

How to write a tattoo, piercing policy
Need a how to: on product ownership
recent changes in HR laws etc.
pretty basic stuff but it takes me hours to do research sometimes and
if we had a resource it would be much quicker.

thank YOU!

I work in that business and address all of those issues you mentioned.
The small business owner usually has a tough time building a business
AND having to keep up to date on the latest workplace laws and
regulations.

Based on the number of employees you currently retain, you are on the
cusp of being brought in to major Federal Laws including Title VII,
Cobra, etc.

I may be able to assist. Please comment if you would like to proceed.
