Thank you for this important question. I wish this had been available
when I was in school! I've found the following resources for you,
along with some other interesting information on "bully-proofing"
schools. Good luck with your hotline!

Arizona Prevention Resource Center
http://www.azprevention.org/Downloadable_Documents/BullyingENG.pdf
Here is an article on bullying from the Arizona Prevention Resource
Center, which also gives a statwide number to call: (800) 432-2772 -
statewide
(480) 727-2772 - in Maricopa county
(480) 727-5400 - fax

In searching the individual school and district web sites, I found
many references to good behavior and discipline in the classroom, but
no references to any type of hotline or student support services.

Arizona Attorney General
http://www.ag.state.az.us/children/safetyman.html
There is a statewide number for "School Violence," not just bullying,
that goes to the State's Attorney General's office.

I have a call in to Jean Ajamie at the Arizona Department of
Education, to find out if they have any type of program or hotline, or
know of any in any of the schools. There is a little information on
their web site, but nothing as specific as a number or directory of
hotline numbers for schools. I will post her answer as soon as I
receive it.

Arizona Department of Education
http://www.ade.state.az.us/ess/pinspals/wrkshopstrng.asp
They offer a workshop for parents and teachers on how to stop
bullying.

Arizona Deparment of Education
http://www.ade.state.az.us/ess/pinspals/documents/behavioral/threatsanddisruptions.doc
This article talks about state legislation to stop violence in
schools, including bullying, and discusses the mediation process.
However, the only hotline it gives is the national number.

Bully Busters
http://aperc.asu.edu/resources/aperc_workshops_pdf/Bullying%20and%20Teasing/BULLY%20BUSTERS-%20for%20children.pdf
This is an outline for a workshop presented by the Arizona Parent and
Educational Resource Center.

No Bullies.com
http://www.nobullies.com/
This is similiar to what you are hoping to create, set up for a school
system in Washington.

No Bully
http://www.nobully.org.nz/0800help.htm
This is a national number for bullying.

Hello Aryaone! I did finally get a call from the Arizona Department of
Education. The only thing they do is promote the Attorney General's
hotline, and she does not know of any local programs that are
available. I wish you the best of luck with this, it's an important
and timely topic.
