I'm trying to find instructions for the "Happy Hands" sign language routine of the song "The Rose" from the movie Napoleon Dynamite. |

I had to learn the sign language for this song in 8th grade choir (back in the eighties). I can remember a good amount of it. Also I noticed that in Napoleon Dynamite, sometimes the words they were signing did not match the words to "the Rose" because of some weird editing. These are instructions for the first three words: "some" Put your right hand over your left palm as if you were slicing it in half. "say" Pull your right index finger in a half circle from your mouth to your chin. "love" Cross your arms over your heart with your hands in fists. |
