Russell...

Do you have a bulk email account with your ISP, or do you
know if your ISP will support mass emailing? Are you looking
for a bulk mailing program that has it's own built-in SMTP
mailserver? Would a freeware solution that sends email at a
normal rate through your normal ISP work, with the stipulation
that there would be a small ad at the bottom of each email,
or would you rather pay for a solution with no ads, and how
much does your budget allow? What operating system are you
using?

need help in posting a response.

Hello justcrusing,

personally not in a group e-mail

What I understand from your question is about to maintain a mailing
list of your customers and once in a month you want to send them a
mail (definately the mail will be customised for each [ name of
customer ]) , however message body will remain same.

You can do this task easily with a simple text database and a perl
script. What you need is a account on Linux web server. and you can do
this task easily in perl.

I don't know if this helps but if all you?re looking for is to have
the same title and body, by which I mean you don?t want the software
to add their name at the top of the text or in the title bar (dead XXX
that kind of thing). If you use outlook then you could store their
information in your outlook address book and make an e-mail group and
as long as you entered that e-mail group into the BCC (blind CC or
blind carbon copy) space than the e-mail will arrive at their mailbox
showing no addressee at all.
