I would like a list of best resources on the web for cross-stitching. 
I am very interested in techniques, patterns and ideas.  I am more
interested in sites that will make me a better cross-stitcher.

History of cross stitching, fundamentals and any other interesting
information would be great.  Suppliers of cross stitching products
would be great as well ? if there are any cross stitching affiliate
related programs.  I would be very keen to learn of these as well.
