Don't ask Google Answers to write your paper for you. However, a clue to help you along: In The Shoemaker's Holiday, the critical focus has been on: 1. The treatment of the foreigner and how the humor surrounding him works; and, 2. The focus on guilds and labor, lending the play to a Marxist analysis. Use the MLA Bibliography (private database / book; your college library will know how to access it) to find relevant articles with a search term like "dekker shoemaker's holiday structure". |
