Question ID: 54671
Trying to find original Broadway playbill, poster or other theater
memorabilia for the following shows: "Carnival", "Babes in Arms" and
"The Wizard of Oz". I have tried many sites and eBay and have been
unable to find info on these shows.

"The Wizard of Oz" has been produced theatrically more than once, but
the 1939 film version is much better known, and items related to the
film are quite hot in the collectors' market. Did you want memorabilia
from the stage "Wizard of Oz" or the movie "Wizard of Oz?"

I was specifically looking for memorabilia related to the stage
version of The Wizard of Oz. I found info from a 1989 (?) London
production but not a US. Also since the original posting, I have found
a playbill for Carnival -- if you can find another, that would be
GREAT. And lastly, I am truly stuck on Babes in Arms -- again there is
much out there from the film version, but I am looking for the 1937
Broadway stage version or a revival. -- Thanks!!

I've found a theatre program for a 1903 Wizard of Oz production, as
well as two Carnival playbills. Still working on the Babes in Arms,
though.

All of the above finds are at http://www.collectorspost.com

Thanks for the info @ Collectors Post. I had already ordered a London
playbill for the 'Wizard of OZ' and a US "Carvival" program at this
site. Had you found another US "Carnival" and a NYC 1903 "Wizard of
OZ" -- or is there no NYC version only the "Starlight" program listed
on this site?
