Computer MPEG-4 video on Mac G-5 with QuickTime Pro. I purchased a CASIO EX-P505 camera. It records excellent MPEG-4 movies at 30 frames/sec and 640 x 480 resolution. I own a G-5 computer running OS 10.4.2 and QuickTime Pro (latest version). When I upload my movies to iPhoto, only the audio will play and the picture is black. The only way I can play the MPEG-4 movies is through VLC Media Player. Apple's QuickTime says it will play MPEG-4 but I can't find anything on the Apple site as to why it doesnt work. Does CASIO have noncompatable MPEG-4 relative to QuickTime on a MAC? |
