Hi I am looking for some companies in the U.S. that offer unlimited calls from a landline (home phone) to other landline phones. Meaning you pay a minimium per month and receive unlimited phone calls to landline numbers across the U.S. Particular, I am looking for unlimited calls for interstate calls (to landline numbers), but if the plan or company offers unlimited local and interstate calls-the better. Could you tell me which companies offer these products/plans and if possible the prices (only for unlimited calls to landline phone numbers when you pay a set fee each month). Thanks |

If you have broadband then you need to check out the VOIP providers in your area. They all offer unlimited long distance and local calls for about 20.00 per month. You will need a router to connect to your modem but the hookup is very easy and the sound quality is very good. In my area it is actually better. The disadvantages of Voip service are that it is better to obtain a new number rather than to keep your old one and you have to dial 1 plus the area code for all numbers, even local ones. The advantages are that you can now keep the same number wherever you go and can even travel with your phone as long as you can get to a hookup. Many hotels now have a high speed connection so you can have your number even if you are in another country traveling. The beat site I have found to compare rates and service areas is http://www.telebay.com/solidgold They also have some standard plans that may work for you if you do not have cable or DSL. |

This sounds like what you want: Cox Digital Telephone - Unlimited Plan http://www.cox.com/Telephone/UnlimitedConnection.asp This is my former local cable company. Try YOUR local cable company, this sort of deal is very common these days. Comcast has one too: Comcast "Connections Any Distance Package" http://www.comcastnw.com/pricing/phone_pricing.pdf Check these deals out... |
