Dear tom3128-ga;
After your clarification and your acceptance of my suggestion that a
professional or private party might be more in line with the type of
anonymous inquiry you need to make, I am posting the most reasonably
priced recommendations from the best sources out there (and these are
probably also much cheaper than a PI would be):
Contact the State of Florida?s Department of Law Enforcement Criminal
History Bureau. From what I gather from the State of Florida, the
information will likely cost you $23.00.

If, for whatever reason the State of Florida web site cannot provide
you with the information you are seeking (the date goes too far back,
privacy issues, etc), I recommend you contact the clerk of the court
where the case was heard. The issue will be a matter of public record
and you can purchase a copy of the decision or perhaps even the
transcript of the trial (if there was one) or alternatively perhaps, a
copy of the plea-bargain agreement or guilty plea and sentencing (if
there was one). This method will probably costs you a fee and maybe
addition ?per page? charges for copying and office fees. It would be
reasonable to expect to pull this off for under $40 or so ? maybe even
significantly less. Again, with the case number you should have no
problem finding what you need for a reasonable fee.

Finally, if that recommendation does not prove satisfactory, contact
the law enforcement agency that made the original arrest and/or
investigated the incident. You can purchase a copy of the incident
report (sometimes called ?Offense Report?) and the arrest report. Both
of these will bear the name of the offender and will either confirm
your suspicions of clear your co-worker ? unless, of course, he
actually committed the crime and someone else was blamed for it ? in
which case you may never learn the truth.

I hope you find that my research exceeds your expectations. If you
have any questions about my research please post a clarification
request prior to rating the answer. Otherwise, I welcome your rating
and your final comments and I look forward to working with you again
in the near future. Thank you for bringing your question to us.
