The rear windshield on my car cracked so I secured a plastic sheet to my car using packing tape and now the 'stickiness' of the packing tape won't come off the car. The tape and plastic sheet must have been on for about 2 months so the stickiness is pretty much baked on. I tried 'Goo Gone', however, it didn't even make a dent in removing the stickiness. So short of repainting my car, does anyone have any easy, cheap suggestions for getting rid of the stickiness? |

Hi ryoung02, Rub a bit of anything greasy on the window - such as Pam, margarine, oil, or mayo. Then lightly scrape with a razor blade. If that doesn't work, spray WD-40. Use razor blade. Wipe of excess and spray with window cleaner. I know the WD-40 works - because I just removed a sticker I had on my front window for rescuing my dogs during an emergency. It had baked in 117 degree heat for days and it came off nicely. :) Best regards, tlspiegel |

Hi, Try using some methylated spirits (high concentrate alcohol) to remove it. It does wonders |
