Is it illegal for for a public pool in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York 10706 to not recycle solid wastes such as plastic, paper, and metals even when the village it is in offers municiple recycling? Regardless of the answer, is there any place on the web where I can find well organized, updated and easy to read directary on recyling law, specifically for New York State. |

recycling is mandatory for commercial stablishment/products as defined in S1-10 read # 3 http://www.nycwasteless.org/bus/pdfs/commercial2.pdf if you read the enforcement section it says that they must. as for NYC laws and directives go to http://www.nycwasteless.org/gov/laws.html |

Hastings is in Westchester. NYC law does not apply. Only U.S. federal, N.Y. state, Westchester county, Greenburgh town, and Hastings-on-Hudson village laws/statutes/ordinances would apply. |
