Greetings,
I am trying to locate a number of manufacturers of small-diameter
timber processing equipment. I am not an expert in the field, which
may delay the provision of detailed clarification, if such is
requested.
Specifically, timber(small logs) of 2 to 7 inches in diameter are to
be processed into value-added glued finished goods, such as boards,
beams, posts, etc.
Manufactures of following types of equipment are needed:
§ round wood sorting (grading) line - needed to sort logs based on diameter
§ debarkers (barking equipment) - needed to remove bark
§ round wood sawing unit (for required number of plates) - saw the
round log into two or more plates lengthwise
§ drying equipment to reach laminated plywood moisture content (based
on drying chambers using water)
§ plate milling unit (as far as I understand these are Roundwood/Dowel Mills)
§ gluing unit (to glue the milled pieces of lumber together in the
grooves formed by milling)
§ plate polishing and facing equipment
§ finished product bunching (packing) line
§ boiler machinery(utilizing waste)
In your answer please provide 3-4 manufacturers of each kind of
equipment with website and/or contact information. Manufacturers do
not have to be exclusively North American. European and Asian
companies will also do, as long as I can contact them in English. If
a manufacturer produces more than one category of equipment listed,
feel free to list them more than once.
If the answer is detailed and provided in a timely manner (couple of
days), a tip will be given.
Thank you in advance. |

The answer should be a list equipment manufacturers for each of the
categories listed (9 categories of equipment, 3-4 manufacturers per
category) along with their contact information (i.e. website, phone
number, etc.). If a manufacturer produces more than one category of
equipment, for example a debarker and a milling unit, you can list
that manufacturer in both categories.
Hope that clarifies the question for you.
