Trying to update kernel patch from 105181-15 to 105181-39 (also tried incrementing via 105181-17 which also failed) and after the update fails I get the following error (/var/sadm/patch/105181-39/log): "Package not patched: PKG=FJSVhea Original package not installed. Package not patched: PKG=SUNWcar.c Original package not installed. Package not patched: PKG=SUNWcar.d Original package not installed. Package not patched: PKG=SUNWcar.m Original package not installed. Package not patched: PKG=SUNWcar.u1 Original package not installed. Package not patched: PKG=SUNWkvm.u1 Original package not installed. Package not patched: PKG=SUNWkvm.us Original package not installed. This appears to be an attempt to install the same architecture and version of a package which is already installed. This installation will attempt to overwrite this package. /usr/admin/amadeus/admin/patches/105181-39/SUNWarc/install/checkinstall: /usr/admin/amadeus/admin/patches/105181-39/SUNWarc/install/checkin stall: cannot open pkgadd: ERROR: checkinstall script did not complete successfully Dryrun complete. No changes were made to the system." I've tried updating the patching utilities in the hopes there was an unmentioned requirement, but this patch failed as well (with a similar log report). The command I've used is: patchadd 105181-39, although I've also tried using the installpatch script included in the patch update too. |
