Okay, I know this might be impossible but I'm giving it a shot! I
think the only way someone might be able to answer this is if they saw
the commercial too, only then they would know exactly what I was
talking about.

A few months ago there was a commercial on tv several times for a
fiction book, it showed in grim colors a bird flying overhead a city
and it said something to the effect like imagine if you could see
through it's (the bird's) eyes. I think the picture on the cover of
the book has the same scene, of in greyish colors a bird flying over a
city. The commercial implied this may have been a scary or thriller
type of book. I wish I could remember the title of the book, I had
been so
interested in buying it but now I've forgotten and I've never seen the
commercials again. Wishing someone else saw it and knows what I'm
talking about as I don't think this can actually be researched,

It looks about the same as what I remember from the commercial, I'm

I'm glad I was able to locate the book you were looking for.

Search strategy:
I searched Amazon with the keyword "bird" and sorted the results by
publication date. (Since the commercial was a few months ago, as you
said, I knew the book had to be fairly new). I then went through the
results looking at the covers of the books for something that fit the
description you provided.
