It is a little harder to find information about the 1998 Commonwealth
Games in Kuala Lumpur (which incidentally was the first Games to have
a Women's Pole Vault event), but one page lists the Australian Emma
George as a participant:

Another list of finalists in the same event lists three Australian
competitors:

Finally a search amongst what appears to be a definitive list of
Australian competitors at the K-L Games only finds three female pole
