researched the "Nannette" trademark.

The above research showed that the eventually the trademark ends up in the
hands of Children's Apparel Network.

I then did a search on Google for: "Children's Apparel Network"

just the marketing name for the line and have nothing to do with the
name of the actual producer.

That's what I expected, but Boss and Ralph Lauren shirts are not
produced by manufacturers using those names.  I think your only choice
will be to try to work upstream from the store, but I doubt that will
be much help.

Perhaps someone can find who holds the trademark for "Nannette" ...
