Oh, all you have to do is use the Speech SDK for .net, which is called as Speech.Net. The official site for it is : http://www.microsoft.com/speech/default.mspx You will find plenty of examples and the component which displays the wave, for voice input :). Take care, Paul Alapatt |

Thanks Paul for your comment, but I guess the Speech.Net is for ASP.Net based application. What I am building is a stand along app on a Pocket PC to tell whether the user is talking or not. Thanks again! |

Hi Thedev, Thank you very much for the link. Here is what I am looking for: 1. simple voice detection, without recognize command or derive meaning 2. read voice stream directly from microphone 3.
