Hello tateti, One could fill an entire library with answers to this question. However, for a relatively concise set of answers, see: "Jesus Christ" Answers.com http://www.answers.com/jesus A short answer is that Jesus Christ is one whom most Christians believe is the Son of God and the Messiah. - justaskscott Search strategy -- Searched on Answers.com for: jesus |

The best way to figure this out is to compare who Jesus said he was with what he did and how the people near him reacted to him. This is recorded mostly in the 4 books of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Most peculiar, is that after the alledged events of these books, the people involved were willing to be killed for Jesus; giving up their lives in belief of his message. These deaths are historically documented in the case of many first century "christians". |

Thank you sanzyou. According to the Bible, faith in Jesus is what saves us. However, we do not have to forget that evidence (e.g. historical evidence) is pointing in that direction (faith in Jesus), although is not able to replace it. Best regards, tateti |
