I know Use Cases is a broad subject, but I can't be too much more
specific. I'm on a job hunt as a Business Analyst, and the job
descriptions I have seen pretty much just say "Use Cases". I am a
Business Analyst who has done informal use cases in my previous jobs,
but nothing using actual Use Case software of any kind. So I'm
offering $2 for a solid lead to someone who can give me a crash
course, and $50 for the crash course itself.

The definition of Use Case, the best I understand it, has to do with
integrating and testing new software, and presenting test cases for
people to validate that the desired results are obtained. I would
like a brief course ("for dummies") in Use Case writing in general, as
well as a basic tutorial in one or more Use Case software products.

P.S. In case you were wondering, I don't plan on informing future
employers that I am an expert in Use Cases. I will just inform them
of my previous experience, as well as basic knowledge of the software
;-)

Hello cheezfri-ga,

Have you searched for "use case" already?

It seems to me there are lots of hits that would help you figure out
the answer to your question. Are you asking a researcher to identify
what are the best resources and promising a $50 tip? Are you looking
for a book or course that sells for $50 to explain use cases? Please
clarify.

I did search Google but didn't find anything satisfactory. Most of
the sites I found just sell Use Case and Project Management software.
There is training available, but it is expensive. I want a human
being to teach me (through email or other mutually agreed medium) some
of the jargon, and walk me through a popular Use Case software, if
possible. If I can't get a copy of the software itself, this person
might need to send me screenshots.

I'm paying $2 if YOU POINT me to a person or website who can
essentially do this. The $50 is a tip to the person you pointed me
to. Now that I think about it, I don't think Google Answers is set up
that way. If you are both the $2 and $50 winner, then that would be
easy. If it is 2 separate people, I don't know if it can be split, or
should I change this question into 2 questions?
