I am trying to find contact details for, or, at least the homepage of, teen sci-fi author Nicholas Fisk (real name - David Higginbottom). Thanks... |

No winning find of a website, I'm afraid. But it is common practice to contact an author through his publisher. Oxford University Press are the most recent publisher to bring out an edition of Fisk's work. They republished "A Rag, a Bone and a Hank of Hair" in November 2000. Their contact details are: Oxford University Press (Oxford Childrens Books) Great Clarendon Street Oxford OX2 6DP Tel: 01865 267 517 Fax: 01865 267 912 email: stokesca@oup.co.uk web: http://www.oup.co.uk/children You can find OUP's page on Fisk at: http://www.oup.co.uk/isbn/0-19-275047-X If OUP are no help, try Hodder. They brought out editions of "Monster Maker", "Flip Side", "Mindbenders" and "Trillions" in 1998 and 1999. Hodder Children's Books 338 Euston Road London NW1 3BH Tel: 020 7873 6000 Fax: 020 7873 6225 Hope this helps you make contact - good luck. Please ask if anything needs clarification. search strategy: Went to Amazon.co.uk to find out about most recent editions of Fisk's work, then to: http://www.booktrusted.com/handbook/publishers/ to get publishers' addresses. |

Not quite an answer to my question but I can't argue with the reasoning... lots of detail here though. Thanks! |

Probably a violation of our privacy rules. I think it's legitimate to point out that you can go to the publisher for any public information. |

Fair point -- but his books are mostly out of print. A homepage maintained by Mr Fisk would be a winning find... |
