I am interested in getting a masters degree but HATE lectures. I hate them in class and I hate them on internet video. I love reading and interacting with professors. What is the most prestigious institution (per US News and world report rankings) that would grant me a masters degree for "independent study" style learning under the guidance of professors but without attending lectures? Ideally, I would also like to design the degree, in that may interests lie in the crossection of many fields, including education, business, and politics. And ideally I would be able to work with professors at multiple institutions rather than just the one granting the degree. |
