Hi,
We are developing an web based applications by using WebLogic 8.1 and
have a problem when switch browser from IE to FireFox or other.

So, we are looking for any tool that can validate the browser
compatibility of application output (HTML + JavaScript). Two major
area that need to be verified:
1. HTML Tag compatibility.
2. JavaScript compatibility.

It'd be greate, if the tools can tell that our application is complied
on which browser.
Answer
There is no answer at this time.

I would personally suggest using http://validator.w3.org/ it can be
used to check the issues in code to make it comply with any standard.
The way to make your web app work in ANY browser is to use XHTML 1.0.

Alternativly there are other sites out there that have information
about site validation (http://www.anybrowser.com/,
http://www.netmechanic.com/cobrands/zd_dev/, etc) I also really prefer
tools like http://www.hermish.com/browser_form.cfm it is an excellent
way to check your HTML tags.

As far as Javascript testing this is a bit more of an issue. The best
way to do this is to go to different applications and test the site
using them. I would be happy to perform this operation for you as I am
an application designer and I code javascript for every browser and I
have developed some solutions for checking compatibility.

Hi,
Thaks for your comment. Actualy, I'm interesting more on the offline
tools for HTML and JavaScript validation. Because, the application
that we are developing will be used internally.

Regards,
Skon L.
