Hi escher,
Would "File Send Automatically" suit your needs? It's part of the MAPILab Toolbox.
File Send Automatically* - auto send the changed file
Once you change the price list do you have to send it to all your partners?
"This plug-in will do this for you automatically: it will "keep an
eye" on the specified files and as soon as they get changed will send
them itself. You will have time to correct the document: you can ask
it to wait for a few seconds or even hours after the file has been
changed. And it is not necessary for you to remember whether you have
sent it or not!"

MAPILab Toolbox $24 (free to try)

Will look forward to your reply,

hummer, i just downloaded and tried it but it only gives the option of
sending a file every time it has been updated or to send a pre written
email at a predefined time. What i need is a cross of both i.e. for it
to go and get the latest version of the file at say 5pm and then send
it. IN this way we'll all the get the latest version at a regular time
without any other versions throughout the day. cheers

Hi esher,
Since you've already downloaded the MAPILab Toolbox, did you look at
the Email Scheduler? I was wondering what happens when you attach
your excel file, wouldn't it pick up the updated file each time it
sends an email?

Esher, if the others don't work for you, sounds like this one will!
You Perform: Schedule Recurring Email
Stop typing recurring emails.
Now you can send them automatically.
"Unlike using outlook templates which grab the attachment at the time
the email template is created, this add-in grabs the attachment at the
time the email is sent so that if changes are occurring on a regular
basis, the most recent copies will be picked up and delivered. Perfect
for sending the same changing files at regular intervals."
