I have a text input box on a dialog I've created with Interface
Builder, and when my app is running and I click on that box and type
something, the system just beeps. No text is entered into the box.
When I test the interface with Interface Builder's "Test Interface"
option, the box works fine. What am I doing wrong (or not doing)?

Would it be possible to see the code in question? Most of the time,
previous use (by a friend) has yielded no problems, and I was curious
to see if the trigger was perhaps in the code?

thanks.

There really isn't much code related to this problem.. but I will give
you a little more detail on the situation.

The dialog is part of a shared library that's being loaded by another
program; the other program calls a method in my library that shows the
dialog and installs the event handler.. the code is fairly involved so
it's hard to separate out into a nice clean example I can post.

However, I don't think it's my event handler (since it's not called at
all when you press a key)...

It's like the control is disabled.. but it's not.

Let me know if you still don't have any ideas and I'll try to create a
standalone application that duplicates the problem. Thanks.
