Hello srb12, The whole thing appears fishy to me. A whois database shows different registration information for musicmembersarea.com, mp3dollar.com, mp3downloadhq.com (the site that mp3dollar.com displays), and napster.com. "Musicmembersarea.com" Whois Source http://www.whois.sc/musicmembersarea.com "Mp3dollar.com" Whois Source http://www.whois.sc/mp3dollar.com "Mp3downloadhq.com" Whois Source http://www.whois.sc/mp3downloadhq.com "Napster.com" Whois Source http://www.whois.sc/napster.com If you feel that these non-Napster websites are a rip-off, you may want to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, and/or contact your state or local government or an attorney for suggestions. I too have been 'conned' by this website. 27th September 2005 I subscribed - thought I was paying 13.41 GBP ended up paying 33.54 GBP for something that wasn't what I thought it was. Tried to contact them on the telephone number on the website - no luck. Used their Live Chat facility and corresponded with someone who advised me no refund available - despite their site saying you could cancel. Was told to request refund via a form I downloaded from www.mp3downloading.com/survey. Faxed this to the company, who I was advised are based in Canada - on November 18th 2005. Have not had the courtesy of a reply!! What is the proper name of this Company? - website I was on was MP3musiclive.com. I am based in the UK. |

Yes - I think this is a con - the payment for unlimited downloads, unlimited movies etc doesn't appear to give you anything you can't get for free. My advice - steer clear. |
