Hi,
I am researching the idea of a business based on selling small pc
units to car owners who own/will own a car DVD player without the
Navigation capability.
The main functionlity added would be internet browsing and Navigation
with additional features being secondary. I have found various
websites that sell such units which are big (approx 9x8x2 inches).
Also they are expensive( about $1000 or more)
My contention is that since Laptops are available for $500 these days
why can't I find one cheaper that this. I do not need these units to
have battery, DVD drive, Screen, keyboard and too much hard drive.
what I need:
1:Gauge the market size for these devices. Number of new cars sold
with dvd players and number of old cars installed with such units.
Any numbers that you could include to help me reach this number would be a plus.
2: Any other suitable advise/suggestions on this product/idea.

Please also see another part of the question in other section.

Thanks.
