I have an 80GB hard drive from a Mac Powerbook laptop (OS X operating
system), which is no longer working.  It is no longer a recognized
drive and I suspect I may have lost all, if not part, of my data.  I
contacted several data recovery companies in the U.S. and have
received quotes that range from $500 to $2500 to recover the
data...which is rather expensive.

Since I currently reside in China, I would like to know the names and
contact information for businesses in either mainland China and/or
Hong Kong, which specialize in data recovery.  I am hoping that the
cost for data recovery out here would be much less expensive.

Thanks for the research so far.  Could you list more companies in
mainland China...perhaps even in the Shanghai area?  The only other
area I'd like to look outside of mainland China is Hong Kong (not
Taiwan or Singapore).
