Greetings Veritasbearer, Just a comment as I didn't find the name meaning but may offer a clue to its origin. I found numerous references to Nigeria with the use of that name. An example may be found at http://main.rccg.org/parish_directory/africa/nigeria/osun.htm I did locate the examples below but the spellings are not how you referenced them: Aneesa ah-nee-SAH "companion" Swahili Kenya-Tanzania East Africa (female name) Anisa ah-nee-SAH "friendly" Swahili Kenya-Tanzania East Africa (female name) (Please visit http://www.namesite.com/ and choose "a" in female names, then click "More Results" at the bottom until you reach these names). Hope this helps. :) Best regards, journalist-ga |
