BOB Your question is a little too general to give you an all encompassing answer, however as b2b over the phone is what i do, here are some pointers that i hope will help. 1, it depends on the market you're calling, we sell tv space cold over the phone, and it works alot better than sending out email solicitations (i dont read the ones i get - do you?) 2 if your name or the projects name is well known people will take the call 3 a lot list cleaning on-the-go is a fact of life in the industry 4, less and less the us convention now seems to be hide behind voice mail 5, very little the industry is very consevative, "make more calls" being the standard aproach to performance improvement. 6, dont know, wish i did! |
