Hello Fbruno,

According to a recent article in Pharmainfo.net, there are 100
Contract Rersearch Organizations in China.

Excerpt:

?There are an estimated 100 local CROs in China. This group varies in
size, quality of offerings, and management capabilities. Their
customers tend to be local Chinese and foreign pharmaceutical
companies that are either already set up in China or looking for entry
into China.

ExcelChina is perhaps the largest CRO in this category; 70% of its
clients are multinational pharmaceutical companies. Mark Engle, an
American expatriate, teamed up with a Chinese partner and started
ExcelChina in 1999.?

??in the next 5-10 years, China will be the big clinical trial market,
and we will have many CROs in China, in comparison with USA, they have
more than 600 CROs, we will reach that number soon.?
