my wife is chinese, i am filing a 1-130 form. it takes 3 to 6 months,
can she get a vacation b-2 visa without hurting i-130 appl. and how
hard is it, thank you

Howdy speedy60-ga,

If there was a way in which your wife could, once you file the I-130 form
and get Form I-797, Notice of Action in return, enter and stay in the U.S.
to await the approval of her green card petition and subsequent lawful
permanent resident status, would that interest you?  Thanks!
