I'm currently doing some research for an overland trip that's to take place in about a year from now, driving from The Netherlands to Australia. To make a rough calculation I need some recent prices of diesel fuel (per liter) in a few countries along the way, they are: Italy Croatia Greece Turkey China India Nepal Vietnam Thailand Indonesia And for an extra tip ($5 each): Eastern Turkey (is there any difference with the west?) Western China or Tibet: Laos One of these four: Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, preferably in Kyrg. capital Bishkek |

There most likely will be fluctuations in prices by the time you make you trip but here are links to European Diesel fuel prices and historical price fluctuation for: Italy, Croatia, Greece and Turkey: http://www.see-search.com/business/fuelandpetrolpriceseurope.htm http://www.iru.org/Services/Fuel/Welcome.E.html |

Thanks, looks like a good start. I'm aware of the fluctuations, my calculations are just a rough indication, I'll probably end up adding a decent margin to my predictions of distance driven/fuel prices just to be sure. Still hoping someone can track down some asian prices though... |
