I would like to know if there is a legitimate company who pays homeworkers to stuff envelopes. I've reveived some mail soliciting this work, but am very concerned that they are just rip offs. Can you find me a reliable one. |

In this automated age, I truly don't think anyone is going to contract out such a job. I would assume all of these envelope-stuffing job offers to be scams. I've never seen one that wasn't. |

dear urmionli I agree with PinkFreud that most if not all of these e-mails and ads are scams. One approach I would suggest is to e-mail (or even better telephone if they provide a number) and say you are very anxious to start. If they get back asking for "registration fees" or money for an "orientation document" or cd rom, say you are only willing to pay any fees AFTER you have earned enough money to cover them. If you hear nothing more rest assured it is a scam (which I can assure you will be the case in 90% of these offers) On a more general note I understand that a lot of these offers while inappropiate are not actually illegal in many of the juristictions in which they operate. I wander if there are any organisations which attempt to clamp on these outfits? regards Mongolia |

Greetings, I tried this type of program once. The start up fee of $35 got me a reprinted booklet explaining how I am paid $5 for each envelope I stuff, plus a percentage of each sale of a listed "Info" product offered by the company who sent the start up kit. Here's how it works. I place an ad either online or in a newspaper with a catchy slogan like, "$500-1000/week Stuffing Envelopes-All Postage Paid For! Send just $5.00 and a self address stamped envelope to PO Box 123,City,State,Zip." All the responses you get to keep the $5.00, and you simply print out a one page ad that offers the same booklet you received, and use the supplied envelopes your interested candidates sent, which covers the postage cost. You have just been paid $5.00 to stuff envelopes! Remember how you make a percentage of sales? The one page ad you mailed back to the soon to be disappointed home worker, if he/she sends the $35 to the company you signed up with, you get a percentage of that cost. It's a perfect circle jerk scam. "The safest way to earn additional income is the realistic part time job." Cheers:) |
